CEO – Abdigani Mohamoud
Abdigani came to the UK from Somalia, facing the challenges of adapting to a new culture
and education system. Having grown up in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, he witnessed
first-hand the issues faced by local young people — from barriers in education to limited
access to positive activities.
In 2011, he began B Young Stars as a small community initiative, running football sessions in
the park to engage young people and provide them with a safe, supportive space. His
passion and persistence led to the organisation becoming a limited company in 2016,
expanding to include Education and Mentoring programmes. Today, under his leadership, B
Young Stars has become a registered charity with a lasting impact — continuing to grow,
inspire, and uplift young people across the community.

She joined B Young Stars in 2018 as a Maths and English Tutor, where her engaging
teaching style and dedication helped many young people build confidence and improve their
academic performance. Alongside her tutoring, Bibi volunteered her time to support the CEO
and help grow the organisation.
Today, she continues to play a vital role behind the scenes, managing operations,
coordinating teams, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Her leadership, attention to
detail, and commitment to the charity’s mission have been instrumental in helping B Young
Stars expand and deliver high-quality programmes across the community.
