Every grant, partnership, and collaboration helps us reach further, dream bigger, and support more young people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and beyond. 1. Royal Borough of Greenwich
The Royal Borough of Greenwich has been at the heart of our story from the very
beginning. Their continued support has helped us reach young people right across the
community through a range of projects.

Every grant, partnership, and collaboration helps us reach further, dream bigger, and support more young people in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and beyond. Below are some of the amazing organisations who stand with us on this journey.
2. The National Lottery Community Fund
● Get Active – Supporting our basketball sessions, promoting health, teamwork, and
wellbeing among young people.
● Borough of Sanctuary – Funding for programmes that help Ukrainian refugees
adapt to new cultures and access educational support.
● 2022 – Became a Registered Charity
After years of community work, we achieved charitable status. This milestone allowed us to strengthen our governance, grow our services, and reach even more young people who need support.
● My Endz – Supporting our community and education outreach across local schools
and youth centres, helping to strengthen local connections and opportunities for
young people.
● HAF- Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, which gives children and
young people a safe, welcoming space to take part in sports, get creative with arts
and crafts, and enjoy healthy, nutritious meals.
We’re proud to work alongside a borough that truly invests in its young people.

3. Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT)-Young Greenwich
Our partnership with Young Greenwich through CACT has been a game changer for our
educational and mentoring work.
Through their funding, we run Universal and Tutoring sessions across three youth hubs in
Greenwich — combining education, sports, and mentoring to help young people learn,
grow, and thrive.
Together, we’re helping young people believe in their potential — in the classroom, on the
pitch, and in life.
4. L&Q Foundation
With the support of the L&Q Foundation, we’ve expanded our community development
programme, working directly with local primary schools to deliver learning and sports
activities that build confidence from an early age.
Their investment helps us plant seeds of ambition and self-belief in children — giving them
the tools to dream big and achieve even more.
5. Hyde Foundation
The Hyde Foundation has empowered us to combine creativity, learning, and local pride
through their Match My Project funding.
Their support helped launch our 10-Year Videography Project, which gives young people
the opportunity to:
● Learn valuable skills in filming, editing, and storytelling
● Create a powerful video showcasing B Young Stars’ incredible youth work
● Build confidence and teamwork while gaining hands-on experience in media
In addition, Hyde Foundation funds our Youth Outreach Programme in SE10 and SE18,
which tackles local community challenges by:
● Connecting young people to safe, accessible spaces like school football courts and
adventure playgrounds
● Linking them to employment, training, and personal development opportunities
Hyde’s partnership reflects what B Young Stars is all about — empowering young people to
tell their own stories and shape their own futures.
